Rulan is Minglan's third elder sister among the daughters. She is the only daughter of the main wife in the Sheng family.

At first, Rulan was a little proud of her higher status. She sometimes laughed at Minglan for being a concubine's daughter. But unlike Molan, she had no bad heart. She was just a simple and straight girl who grew up protected by her mother. As they grew up, Rulan slowly saw Minglan's good personality. She no longer looked down on Minglan, and even stood by her side when others bullied her.

Unlike the cold and calculating relationship between Molan and Minglan, Rulan and Minglan have a simple and real sisterhood. They are not super close, but they never hurt each other.
